Tree Stewards in action! Reestablishing vegetative stream buffers requires follow-up TLC for years after putting the trees in the ground. This past weekend a small crew provided a much needed pruning and shelter maintenance on to local planting sites
Brrrr! A small team of volunteers were bundled up for our first day out collecting aquatic insects. The variety and types of “benthic macroinvertebrates” can tell us the health of our stream’s habitat & water quality. Go Team! .
