Tree Walk At City Park

A free guided tree walk, will be conducted in Hagerstown’s City Park at 1 pm, during the City Fall Fest.

A variety of trees will be visited during the walk, included State Champion trees and interesting species in the City’s new arboretum. This walk is open to the public and limited to 20 participants.

Doug Inkley is the Big Tree Coordinator for Washington County, Md. A wildlife ecologist, he advocated for land and wildlife conservation for 30 years for the National Wildlife Federation. In addition to enjoying 'hunting' for big trees, he also co-manages a large sugarbush in Vermont, with 10,000 taps.
