What Inspires Me...Series: "Life As We Know It (Can Be)" by Laura Schnackenberg

“The World As We Know It (Can Be)” by Bill Weir is worth a read! It’s intriguing because it starts as a series of letters to his then newborn son to be read in 2050. The book is organized in sections using his version of the hierarchy of needs in relationship to climate change. Even though the topics are about our toxic, consumer driven world, the author shows us hope. I finally semi-understand the difference between nuclear fission and nuclear fusion!

What makes this book inspirational are the people who are fighting the good fight, inventing better alternatives and living their dreams.
