ACWA is managed by volunteers who serve as Board of Directors and are elected by current ACWA members at the Annual Member Meeting. The Board has 11 adult positions and (up to 2) student members. Board of Director responsibilities and eligibility are provided in these documents: adult members and student positions. Adult board members serve for two-year terms and are recruited annually. Student positions are renewed yearly. Details on the roles & responsibilities of the Board are written in our organizational By-Laws (last revised 2025).

Board members guide the organization, its activities, and have a lot of fun while doing so!

Board meetings are scheduled by the Board and are advertised on our website calendar and emailed newsletter. ACWA members are always welcome to attend Board meetings to help generate ideas and provide insight on issues, concerns, and activities in our watersheds.
