ACWA's Volunteer Native Plant Nursery

Since 2024, volunteers have been rescuing native tree & shrub seedlings to offer for sale and donations to benefit our watersheds and native wildlife. Late last year, we also received a large donation of potted inventory from a native plant nursery that went out of business. 

Volunteers are needed to prepare for our Spring Sale and care for the Native Plants

Our trees & plants are waking up with many young seedlings pushing out new leaves and blossoms each day. New bareroot seedlings are also being dropped off & need to be potted. Help is needed to for various tasks to keep the nursery running & plants healthy.

Volunteers can attend scheduled group work days or set up other times to help by appointment.

Next group work days are:

• Friday 4/10 Noon-6pm

• Saturday 4/11 9am -Noon

• Monday 4/13 10am-2pm

• Friday 5/1 3-6pm
