The purpose of ACWA’s nursery to increase the biodiversity of native plant species on our region and to make native tree and shrubs accessible to our community. Started in spring of 2024, the nursery holds native tree and shrub seedlings that were spared from being discarded after completed planting projects and also some overstock plants from local nurseries. ACWA Volunteers have been caring for these seedlings and they are ready to go to their forever homes. See current plant list below.

The availability list may change, as some species may be selected to hold overwinter until Spring.
Species specific information will be posted prior to the sale and will be available at the event.
Most trees/shrubs will be $10; Member Price $7 plus tax
Some pots will have special pricing & will be marked accordingly.
Plant pot sizes range from quart-size up to 10 gallons
We will accept cash and credit cards. Checks from members
EVENT DETAILS & NOTES:
These are rescue seedlings. Not nursery stock. Please be kind…their feelings could get hurt.
We are not a retail nursery. Pots are various sizes from donations and some uglies.
We do not have carts. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you as much as we can, but please bring help to carry pots and load.
The ground is uneven and grassy. It is not handicap-friendly. Pots are stacked on pallets which can be uneven.
Restrooms are not available at the event. (Sheetz is nearby on Route 40 & 66)
We love pets, but please do not bring them to the event.
