ACWA started is volunteer nursery in 2024 to save excess native trees & shrub seedlings from being discarded after large planting projects. We also hold inventory of overstock plants from local nurseries.
The goal of operating the nursery is to make native plants accessible to our community while increasing native plant biodiversity in our region.
The next sale date is:
Saturday May 2, 2026 (rain date is 5/3/26)
9 AM - 2 PM
held at Crickhollow Farm White Barn, 20464 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown
Trees, Shrubs, and Herbaceous plants will range from quarts to 10 gallons and are priced $7-$30 plus tax. Some pots will have special pricing & will be marked accordingly.
We accept cash and credit cards. Checks from members.

Species specific information will be posted prior to the sale and will be available at the event.
EVENT DETAILS & NOTES:
We are not a retail nursery. Pots are various sizes from donations and some uglies.
We do not have carts. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you as much as we can, but please bring help to carry pots and load.
Parking is in a grassy field. Be aware: the grounds at the nursery are uneven.
Restrooms are not available at the event. (Sheetz is nearby on Route 40 & 66)
We love pets, but please do not bring them to the event.
ACWA & Crickhollow Farm are not responsible for accidents.
