Two Fall Workshops Scheduled!

Two workshops have been announced for upcoming fall:

  • Hands-On Invasive plant Removal & Demonstration Workshop. Sunday September 27th from 9am-Noon at Hagerstown Community College. Learn how to identify invasive plants, removal techniques, & help remove select invasive plants at Hagerstown Community College. The Workshop/work day is Free to attend but sign up is required.   • Mushroom Workshop: Sunday October 25 from 2-5pm off Spade Rd in Hagerstown. Join other ACWA volunteers in a hands-on, instructional workshop on how to cultivate one of Maryland’s native, edible oyster mushrooms (pleurotus ostreatus). Cost is $10 per log.
