Volunteers are needed to help plant trees. You need not bring anything unless you have favorite work gloves and shovel.

Please remember to wear clothes and shoes that may get dirty and to bring your own drinking water.

Park at Smithsburg Elementary School (67 N Main St, Smithsburg, MD 21783), then walk down N Main Street to the planting area. Special notes: Sign in and get tools by the parked Maryland Forest Service truck at the planting location. Wear long sleeves and long pants, as we will be planting a lot of eastern red cedar which can sometimes irritate the skin.
