The Board of Directors will be meeting a the Hub City Brewery/Church Street Distillery for a casual end-of-the year social.
All members are welcome to join us as we celebrate the close of another successful year for the organization.

Public Input Needed for Hamilton Run Restoration Efforts
Catoctin Land Trust will be joined by State of Maryland officials as well as representatives from the City of Hagerstown to review and comment on the plans for mitigating flooding on Hamilton Run and Northern Avenue in Hagerstown.

This months Meeting will be a virtual meeting using Google Meets. Guest speaker will be Alex Reed, Washington County Department of Environmental Management Watershed Specialist. Alex will provide us an update on the activities under "2012 Antietam Creek Watershed Restoration Plan." We will also discuss upcoming ACWA events.

Board meetings are generally scheduled for the 4th Thursday of even numbered months.
Join ACWA for a member social/ meeting to include a presentation on black bears in our watersheds. The event is open to members and their guests. Registration is required as space at the brewery is limited.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered for free; feel free to bring a appetizer/dessert to share. Upper Stem beverages and flights are available for purchase.
Upper Stem Brewery is a Maryland-designated farm brewery, located northeast of Hagerstown in Washington County. The farm produces grain, hops, herbs, and fruit that is used in the production of our small-batch craft beer. Speaker for the meeting is Brian Eyler, a Waynesboro native, a wildlife biologist with the Maryland DNR, Wildlife & Heritage Service. He has been a biologist with DNR for over 20 years, specializing in bear and deer management.
Election of ACWA Board of Directors will be completed during this event. Members will have the opportunity to express interest in activities and direction of the organization in the coming year.
